How You Can Help

Volunteers

Events of this magnitude need people to run it. Consider this an open call for volunteers to help out.

Some positions that we need filled are:

• Door people - check IDs, collect donations and give general information
• Event Security
• "Go-fers" and general assistance
• Street Team
• Pledge collectors before and after the event

Donations

We ask a minimum $5 cash or check donation to be made at the door. Please feel free to contribute more - as much as you are comfortable with donating. We will also have boxes available for donations of non-perishable food items to contribue to the NLCS Food Pantry, as well as gas cards and food cards.

Companies who donate monies, food, food cards and/or gas cards, as well as items to be raffled off will all be listed on our "Sponsors" page, as well as on flyers at the event. For very little time, effort and money, a company can get major exposure at this event with this advertising.

If you are unable to attend the event but wish to help out, you can mail us a check or money order to the address on the left, or you can use the convenient PayPal button also to the left. Please make checks payable to "Northern Lambda" and notate "2008 Winter Benefit" to help out the bean counters.
