NLCS Services

As Northern Lambda rebuilds, we will begin offering many services free of charge for the Aroostook County GLBT community. As our member base grows, we will be able to implement and add to these services.

Anonymous HIV Testing

NLCS will be the only organization in Aroostook County to provide 100% anonymous HIV testing.

Crisis Helpline

This toll-free helpline will be staffed 24/7 by GLBT volunteers for those who are just coming out, have tested positive or any other matter that you need to talk with someone who understands.

Please understand that you don't need to call if you ruined the only pair of shoes you have that goes with your sexy leather jacket. :-)

Awareness and Training

NLCS will be available to provide HIV/AIDS and GLBT awareness and training for your company, school or other organization. We have professional speakers and teachers on-staff who are not only knowledgeable, but energetic and exciting orators as well.

Benefits and Fundraisers

NCLS is fast becoming experts on fundraising and benefits. We have a venue to provide the benefit and a professional DJ to add to your event. We would ask for a donation to cover base costs.
